About Nahiri & Azreal:

Nahiri and Azreal are both 5.5 ft common boa constrictors living at A New Hope. When their owner decided he did not have the space or time for snakes like them, he felt it was best they go to a sanctuary. 

 

About Boa Constrictors:

Boa constrictors are solitary semi-arboreal snakes that can be found in Central and South America. Due to the exotic pet trade and irresponsible owners, there is now a growing population in Florida. Many people think that because snakes are not expressive in the ways that mammals are that they do not need much space or enrichment, however we feel it's very important that all animals are given the space to enjoy their lives.
