Todd

Basic Info:

Name: Todd

Species: Fennec Fox

Gender: Male

Age: 4 years

About Todd:

Todd and Vixie were the first animals to find their forever home at A New Hope. They came to us in the summer of 2014 after their previous owners decided they no longer wanted them. Originally, the pair were meant to be cute exotic pets for a 12 year old child. After reaching sexual maturity, Todd's foxy behavior started to show and he began biting. In response, they were both moved to a rabbit hutch outdoors where they lived for years.

Todd enjoys marking his territory, intimidating any threats, and showing off how tough he is. Weighing less than 2lbs, he's the perfect example of Napoleon's Syndrome! He also loves sunbathing on warm days and digging in the sand.

About Fennec Foxes:

Fennec Foxes are the smallest members of the canine family. Native to the Sahara Dessert, these adorable little critters spend their days navigating the desert and hunting for small prey. Fennec fox are excellent diggers, hunters, and survivalists. Unlike most types of fox, they mate for life and form very deep family bonds.
